Beyond client work, photographer Dan Silvestri has spent five decades capturing the places, landscapes and moments that inspire him. This personal collection brings together lifestyle, architectural, nature and travel images made with the same craft he brings to every commercial assignment. Many of these photographs are available as custom prints for offices, lobbies and homes across Lexington and Central Kentucky.
Architectural and Lifestyle Photography
Dan’s personal work celebrates light, line and texture in buildings, streetscapes and everyday scenes. These images reflect an eye trained by more than 50 years of architectural and commercial photography, and they bring a distinctive sense of place to any space.
Travel and Adventure Photography
Dan’s camera has followed him far from the studio. An avid caver since the mid-1980s, he has photographed deep underground, including a 586-foot vertical descent into one of the deepest pits in the United States. In 2004, he documented a journey to Africa that included a climb to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro and a two-week safari.
